Two likenesses, not one
A couple portrait is harder than a single portrait, because it has to be right twice. Most of the work goes into keeping both faces individually recognisable rather than drifting toward a generic handsome pair. If one of you looks right and the other does not, the portrait has failed.
The photograph matters more here
Both faces need to be reasonably clear and lit by the same light. A photograph where one person is in shadow and the other is in sun is the single most common reason a couple portrait comes back wrong — the shadowed face has less information in it to work from.
An anniversary that is not another candle
This is the gift people give for a first anniversary, a fifth, a fortieth. It works because it is specific: not a nice picture of a couple, but that particular evening, in that light, in those clothes.

A high-resolution digital file by email, ready to print or frame. Nothing physical is shipped, so there is no waiting on post and no delivery address to give.
What happens to my photograph?
It is stored privately while your portrait is made, and deleted once your artwork has been delivered. It is never published, shared, sold, or used to train any model.
Can you combine two separate photographs of us?
Often, yes, if the lighting is not wildly different. Send both and tell us what you want; if it will not work well we will say so before charging you.
Can you remove someone else from the background?
